Programs & Athlete Advancement:

As our program continues to grow, we understand and appreciate the ambition of athletes wanting to challenge themselves at the next level. Competing against older athletes can be an extremely valuable experience, but our priority is to ensure that each athlete is placed in an environment that both challenges them and upholds the integrity of our training programs and camps.

Advancement is never based on a request; it is a decision made after careful consideration of an athlete’s readiness. Athletes must consistently stand out in their age group—both in skill, effort, and communication - leadership qualities are equally important! If a younger athlete does not check these boxes, they will not be considered for advancement.

Our goal is to foster long-term development, so if we believe an athlete is ready to move up, we will reach out to you directly! Athletes are always encouraged to reach out if they have any questions about their development or progression - we’re here to support and guide them in their journey!

This page outlines our program structure and the criteria for advancement, as well as our pathway for athletes.

🔹 Offered during: Spring Break, Summer, and Winter Break.
🔹 Who can join: Open to all club athletes in Grades 7-8 with prior club or school volleyball experience and the drive to pursue post-secondary volleyball.

We do not offer ongoing middle school training, but our PREP camps introduce young athletes to our training style, preparing them for high school and beyond. Select athletes may be invited to train in the Junior Program based on skill level and coach evaluation.

If you're interested in training with us in high school, this is the best way to get started!

Junior Program (Grades 9-10) – Skill Development & Application

Senior athletes refine their specialized skills, implement new tactics, and elevate their game for post-secondary competition.

We offer positional training for seniors to refine their skills, expand their tactical understanding, and develop advanced techniques. Training includes block and defense classes, serve and pass training, and game IQ & situational training, which is offered at select times throughout the season.

Sessions focus on elite, game-specific preparation, blending technical skill development with tactical execution and decision-making.

Criteria for Early Advancement in our Programming

To be considered for advancement to a higher-level program, athletes must meet the following high-performance criteria:

  1. Advanced Skill Proficiency: Athletes must demonstrate fundamental skills at an elite level, matching or exceeding the performance standards of the seniors in the program.

  2. Competitiveness and Confidence: Athletes should exhibit a strong sense of confidence both verbally and physically, showcasing their ability to lead and inspire teammates during high-pressure situations.

  3. Exceptional Performance: Coaches will assess athletes on their ability to consistently excel in training sessions, indicating that they not only would benefit from joining the older group but would also elevate the overall training environment.
