Court Confidence Mentorship Program

A 5-month program designed to support and empower athletes through their club season by developing mental strategies, embracing team roles, and fostering leadership and teamwork skills. With weekly small-group sessions led by professional mentors and monthly individual Zoom calls, athletes gain the tools to build confidence, improve communication, and become standout teammates!

Ansah Odoom

Ansah brings firsthand experience from volleyball in BC, excelling in team dynamics, earning playing time, and thriving under the pressures of starting roles. She navigated the recruiting process independently and completed her education at TWU, winning a national championship and three Canada West titles. Now playing professionally overseas (2023–present), Ansah offers valuable insights into achieving success at every stage of an athlete’s journey. Having overcome a season-ending ACL injury, she also brings a deep understanding of resilience and recovery.

Shilla Omoriwe Buyungo

Shilla is an FIVB-accredited teacher, recently selected to train high-performance volleyball coaches globally. A former NCAA athlete and Ugandan National Team libero, Shilla has coached both men’s and women’s club teams to Serie A National Volleyball League Championships. She made history as the first female Head Coach of Uganda’s Men’s National Volleyball Team, achieving significant success on the continental stage. With her wealth of experience and innovative perspective, Shilla is excited to share her knowledge and inspire Canadian athletes.
